St. Pete Favorites
getting around
St. Pete downtown area from the Pier all the way along Central Avenue is very walkable and you can enjoy all the shops and restaurants along the way. Going beyond the downtown area will require you hop in/on a different mode of transport. Visit St.Pete.org to read more about transportation in the area.
Bikes/Scooters - there are a number of bike and scooter options in downtown St. Pete.
Trolley/Bus - Central Avenue Trolley runs from downtown St. Pete all the way to St. Pete Beach. You can find more details about it here. In 2022, a new Sunrunner bus will begin service, which will take customers from St Pete to the Beach and back. You will find the bus stops on 1st Ave N and 1st Ave S. More details here.
Car/Taxi - Having or renting a car in St. Pete is by far the easiest way to get around and gives you the most options to explore beyond just St. Pete and the nearby Beaches.
