Are you planning a trip to Seville, Spain? This charming city is known for its rich history, stunning architecture, and vibrant culture. From the towering Cathedral of Seville to the winding streets of the Santa Cruz neighborhood, there's no shortage of things to see and do in Seville.

Getting to Seville

Seville is a 3hr bus ride or 1.5hr car ride from Albufeira and is the perfect place to visit if you are missing the hustle of a city after days lounging on the beach. We were only there for 24 hrs but Seville felt like a place that I would want to call home forever. I loved the textures, colors, vibrancy of people, the parks, the food - everything.

Must-See Sights in Seville

There are so many incredible sights to see in Seville that it can be hard to know where to start. Here are a few must-see sights to add to your itinerary:

🥘 Lola Por Dios: Cute authentic tapas place that is placed in a bustling alley. Really fun to order all different types of tapas and people watch. The croquettes were amazing.

🥘 Restaurante Petra: Adorable and more upscale tapas restaurant perfect for dinner. We loved the corquettes (duh) but also the grilled vegetables and creamy rice.

🍦Olmo: AMAZING ice cream with traditional and unique flavors. I got lemon milk and it was perfect for the warm day.

🥐 Manu Jara: Amazing pastries. I got some type of strawberry croissant and Eoghan got chocolate. I don’t think you could go wrong with anything in the bakery. Grab them to go and eat them along the river.

🍄 Seta de Sevilla: A big structure that has views of the whole city. Las Setas means mushrooms in Spanish :) We went for the night show where the sculpture lights up with a rainbow light performance, but I heard that it is also an amazing spot for the sunset.

🌳 Plaza de Espańa: Cute park to walk through that leads you to an amazing square filled with a pond with row boats and beautiful architecture. We saw these amazing flamenco street performers that was the perfect little taste of flamenco for our 24 hrs in Seville.

🚶‍♀️ Walk around the Santa Cruz neighborhood, across the Triana bridge and along the río Guadalquivir.
